What is Azure?

The fabric controller and Cloud OS create a new level of abstraction. The fabric is to the cloud as the kernel is to an OS.

Where is Windows Azure?

Windows Azure exists in multiple data centers worldwide. You are looking at the inside of the cloud/shipping container; this one, is in Chicago.

How?

The fabric controller dynamically manages the resources of the infrastructure just as kernel manages the resources of an operation system.
